  • Justin May


    No two days are the same at Campbell’s and Justin thrives on this vibrant aspect of the business.  With over 20 years’ experience in Estate Agency, Justin relishes the myriad of opportunities presented by our varied clients.

    He has extensive experience in local planning complexities, and an acute knowledge of the broad spectrum of property within the area.  A consummate, eloquent professional, Justin passionately believes in nurturing an approachable and responsive relationship with clients, which ultimately enables them to make positive and informed decisions.

    He is a genuinely thoughtful chap who considers the service provided by Campbell’s to be top priority – the crucial key to a successful presence within our small market town and surrounding area.  Justin leads the team here with motivational and energetic leadership skills, thus ensuring  a good proportion of repeat business from faithful clients.

    Without doubt, his faithful black Spaniel, often to be spotted at Justin’s heels as he heads around town, is a valued member of the team.

  • Sarah Boniface


    Campbell's Director Sarah has had many years in Estate Agency starting in Heathfield in the 1980’s and has worked in Uckfield, Lewes, Ringmer and Tunbridge Wells for 9 years before starting in Battle in 2008.

    She has had much experience in selling a variety of houses and coming from a farming background she particularly enjoys dealing with agricultural and equine related properties.

    She specialises in sales progression and prides herself in getting difficult transactions through to exchange by working closely and conscientiously with her clients.

  • Steve Cook

    Steve has been actively selling property in Battle and the surrounding villages since 1990. Over the last 28 years he has sold everything from building plots right through to Country Houses and has gained extensive local knowledge.

    Past buyers have become clients asking Steve and the team to sell for them. In some instances he has sold the same house 3 or 4 times and he is now selling to the next generation.

    Steve’s attention to detail and duty of care together with sales progression remain paramount.

  • Jackie Baker

    Jackie joined Campbell’s in 2013 and has worked in Estate Agency for over 30 years, not only in sales but also in lettings and valuing. She has worked as a senior sales negotiator in Battle for over 10 years and knows the area very well.

    Jackie has established proactive relationships with local Estate Agents and Solicitors as well as having a very good rapport with her clients.

  • Liz Trigwell

    Liz has worked in the property business for 38 years, predominantly as an Estate Agent.

    Wanting to expand her knowledge she has also been a land buyer for a large national house builder and a sales manager. She has also managed portfolios for a development company before running an Estate Agency office for many years.

  • Sue Pollington

    Sue has worked as a Secretary/Administrator for over 30 years to a number of professionals including a Chartered Surveyor and a Commercial Estate Agent before joining the team at Campbell’s 7 years ago.

    She plays an important, and sometimes unseen role, by organising and overseeing the smooth running of all the administrative aspects of the company and her contribution behind the scenes helps us give a first class service.

  • Bob Bickersteth

    We could not have a better person to lead the team in the London Office. Bob was born in St Leonards and subsequently lived in the Battle area for 24 years.

    Although he still retains a House locally he is now based in the Capital and runs the London office promoting our properties to the London and International markets. The office is strategically placed in the heart of St James’s and from here, the team are able to give out hard sets of property details to those looking to make the move to the South East or looking for a weekend bolthole.

    Qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1992, he has worked in the residential country property market ever since. During this time he has built up extensive knowledge of the market, villages, schools, commute times and even local pubs. He is passionate about the service offered to clients and will often go the extra mile to ensure a purchaser finds their ideal home.
